Call me a big softie, but I love it when a dog and cat hit it off and become best friends ’til the end.

And that’s exactly what happened when Raven, a husky dog, and Woodhouse, a fluffy kitty, became family.

Raven’s owner Christina took her to a shelter in Texas and wanted the pup to pick out a cat to take home. Christina said, “I had always wanted a dog and a cat to grow up together. It’s been like a life goal. I wanted them to be able to get along well. So I wanted her to actually meet the cat and have the cat get along with the dog as well.”

Only one of the kitties in the litter showed Raven any attention, and they knew that was the one they had to bring home.

Let’s get to know these best friends.
