I have a soft spot for Sesame Street. I mean, I grew up with Big Bird, Bert and Ernie, and Oscar the Grouch.
So I was completely charmed by their performance at NPR’s Tiny Desk Concert.
The Tiny Desk Concert is a video series in which artists come and perform at the desk of All Songs Considered host Bob Boilen. Florence + The Machine, Wu-Tang Clan, Yo-Yo Ma, and Erykah Badu are just a few of the many, many artists who have performed at the desk.
As expected, Sesame Street’s turn was absolutely wonderful.

The gang sang “What I Am,” “People In Your Neighborhood,” “The Sesame Street Theme (Sunny Days),” and more. The concert was a part of Sesame Street’s 50th-anniversary celebration, and even Elmo and Grover showed up to celebrate.

The NPR team and their kiddos just couldn’t get enough of the Sesame Street gang.
