Jaden Smith might only be 21-years-old, but the entertainer and son of movie stars Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith seems like a mature young man whose heart is in the right place.

Smith launched a pop-up food truck in Los Angeles called I Love You Restaurant that serves vegan food to homeless people in LA’s Skid Row area, which is one of the highest concentrations of homeless people in America. It’s estimated that the homeless population in Los Angeles is around 50,000.

The I Love You truck has been spotted handing out brown paper bags filled with healthy food in Los Angeles. This is not Smith’s first foray into charitable businesses. He launched a company in Flint, Michigan, called JUST water that installed a filtration system to battle that city’s clean water woes.

On Instagram, Smith said his idea “is a movement that is all about giving people what they deserve, healthy, vegan food for free.” Smith said this food truck is the first of many he plans to put out on the street.

Other celebrities weighed in on Smith giving back to help the less fortunate:

Taraji P. Henson offered her thoughts: “PROUD OF YOU YOUNG MAN!!!!!”

Kevin Hart said, “This is so dope. I love what you are doing man.”

“WOW,” SZA said “ICON ENERGY.”

Yara Shahidi said, “This is incredible,” and Bella Thorne added, “This is amazing.”

Well done!

Hopefully these trucks take off and other folks will follow Jaden Smith’s example.
