Sometimes when I see young kids or even teenagers acting horribly, it gets me kind of down…but then I occasionally see youngsters like these two brothers you’re about to meet and it totally redeems my faith in the human race and gives me hope for the future!

I’m talking about Greyson and Garrett Winfield, 8 and 6-years-old from Conway, South Carolina. This dynamic duo took it upon themselves to help out a whole lot of folks in their area, including single moms and first responders.

Even though they’re young, Greyson and Garrett knew that a lot of people are struggling this year because of the pandemic and they figured the best way they could help out would be to mow lawns for single moms and first responders so those folks could scratch that chore off of their to-do list.

They also started a non-profit organization called Helping Footprint that raises money for needy and hungry families in the Conway area.

The money raised is used to either pay off bills for folks who are in trouble or to buy gift cards for food for families.

Greyson and Garrett learned the lesson of giving back early in life because their parents are both former firefighters.

Greyson said about the work he and his little brother are doing,

“I want to help people. There are other people who have nobody to help them and it’s the right thing to do.”

I’d say these youngsters are going above and beyond the call of duty.

These two young boys are amazing and are setting a great example for other kids.

Keep moving forward and continue doing great work!
