It’s an unwritten rule: if you hit a parked vehicle, you try to find the owner. If you can’t, you leave a note. It’s what good humans do.
It’s not what a Buffalo Public Schools bus driver did, though. When Andrew Sipowicz saw the damage to his car, he was initially dismayed, reports BuzzFeed News.
When he saw the note, though, he was relieved. That is, until he read the note, which left him charmed and amused.
He posted the note and his thanks on Twitter:

There are bullet points, for crying out loud. It’s organized and easy to read. And there’s the artistic rendering of the event.
Look at that screaming child in the window. This is incredible. Twitter, of course, fell in love with the anonymous writer.
Andrew also left this heart-warming follow-up:
Do the right thing, folks. Leave a note. You never know who might be watching.
