Everyone is doing their best to help out their neighbors during this trying time and an adorable Golden Retriever named Sunny is no different.
Sunny lives with his owner, Karen Eveleth, in Manitou Springs, Colorado, and they’ve been neighbors with a woman named Renee Hellman for more than ten years.
When Hellman, who uses an oxygen tank, had to self-quarantine because of respiratory problems, Eveleth and her faithful pooch Sunny decided they needed to be good neighbors and help her out.
So they decided to help out Hellman with her grocery shopping.
Eveleth said about Hellman,
“She got the list, she gave it to Sunny, Sunny brought it to me.
I went to the store, got her groceries, and he delivered them all to her.”
That’s right, Sunny the Golden Retriever has gone above and beyond the call of duty and is delivering groceries to his neighbor while she’s stuck inside during this current crisis.
If you watch anything today, make it this. A #ManitouSprings dog is making deliveries to a self-quarantined neighbor so she doesn't have to risk getting sick ♥️ https://t.co/IqirOsztHV pic.twitter.com/DY9MJUebnh

Renee Hellman said about Sunny and his work,
“What a wonderful thing, just a sweet thing. So he started doing the schlepping, back and forth. It’s been fun, it’s been a real treat. Little things like Sunny coming over to visit is nice, and it makes you feel good. It’s a way of communicating.”
Oh, and Sunny also likes to get the mail, too.
Look at him go!
Have you seen any examples of people going above and beyond during this shutdown and helping each other out?
