Okay, it’s confession time…I’m here to tell you that I have WAYYYYY too many cassette tapes…and I don’t even have a tape player anymore!

But for some reason, I just can’t seem to make myself get rid of those treasures from yesteryear…

Maybe one of these days…

AskReddit users admitted what they have way too much of.

Let’s take a look, shall we?

1. Hoarder.

“I’m an obsessive hoarder so I quite literally have too much of just about everything.

I keep everything ranging from cds, books, movies, instruments and old tech like consoles and pc parts to cinema ticket stubs, old college and university projects, old toys I used to have as a child, almost every single handwritten thing someone’s done for me, old whiskey bottles and many many more.

At first I thought I just enjoyed collecting things and in many ways I do, however I’ve since realized I actually struggle to part with items regardless of how insignificant they are.”

2. I’ll take some!

“Squash!

Our garden has gone crazy and we have more than we could eat in a year!

Thankfully, everyone we’ve given it to has accepted it with open arms!”

3. Focus!

“Puzzles. It’s my adhd hyper focus addiction.

My friend just gave me the coolest one I’ve ever had and will frame it.

It’s a wooden octopus but shaped like one, biggest pain in the a** and only 200 something pieces.”

4. Spice up your life.

“Paprika, for the last year about every other month I go to the grocery store she stare at spices thinking, “what is it I need.. paprika, must be paprika”.

I have cheap paprika, organic paprika, smoked paprika, McCormick paprika.. so much paprika.”

5. Plant lover.

“House plants.

I have almost 200 and counting… but I love them!!”

6. Way too much.

“Change.

I’m a bartender and cash-out as much change as I can at the end of the night, but still have some to throw in the change-jar at home.

After hundreds and hundreds of shifts, I’ve accumulated way more change than any person should ever have.”

7. Me, too!

“Boxes.

I have a bad habit of keeping the box to anything remotely expensive, thinking I might irrationally need it one day.

Just worked up the courage to throw out my two huge TV boxes today though, which I calculated took up nearly 2% of my apartment!”

8. Over the top.

“Containers.

Containers consist of: pretty boxes, baskets, Rubbermaid totes, fabric bins, wine crates, photo boxes, acrylic drawers, small bins, medium bins, large bins, acrylic shoe boxes, acrylic boot boxes…then come the bags…small bags, medium bags, big bags, tote bags, cooler bags, beach bags, canvas bags, reusable grocery bags, lunch bags, travel bags, makeup bags, take random s**t to work bags….there are more in sure.…I need a GIANT container for my containers.

Truth: Certain ones I won’t use, cause I don’t want to ruin them.”

9. Might have overdone it.

“Baking soda.

I saw on telly that baking soda and vinegar is a simple way to remove to remove tea stains from a travel mug, so I went on ebay, and not knowing how weight would correspond to size, decided 5 kg sounded about right.

Turns out, I bought a 50 year supply.”

10. Madhouse.

“Birds. We have too many IMO.

We have 2 macaws, a cockatoo, an African grey, and a blue front amazon. Our house is NEVER quiet.

That coupled with 5 dogs, 2 teenagers, there isn’t a quiet moment in my house during the day.”

11. Start using them!

“Condiments.

For someone that only use salt for cooking, two cabinet full of it are way too much.”

12. No regrets.

“I have too many tools.

My woodshop has maybe 7 or 8 tools that I use on a regular basis and like hundreds of specialized tools that are only needed once every other blood strawberry inverse moon.

But it’s better to have and not need than to need and not have, right? Right?? That said, the one time you need a turboencabulator and don’t have one usually ends in tears. I regret nothing.”

13. That’s kind of insane.

“Art supplies. And… I just bought more. Good Grief. I kinda bounce around to different art forms all the time. I’m doing all kinds of s**t right now. Here’s the list of art forms I have equipment and supplies for:

  • Ceramics
