A Wife Is Freaked Out by Her Husband’s Relationship With His Sister

Every family has meddling in-laws, but this woman’s sister-in-law takes things to a whole new level in that regard.

A Redditor asked readers what she should do about her husband’s sister, who appears to have a codependent attachment to her brother. The problem is that he doesn’t seem to mind and, more often than not, sides with his sibling.

It all came to a head when the jealous sister announced she wanted to spend the night at their home. When the woman voiced her concerns about the strange relationship with her husband, it made him furious.

She noticed the red flags pretty early on, but with five kids between her and her husband, it’s not so easy to leave him.

Her SIL made inappropriate comments from the very beginning.

At times, they were a little too close for comfort for her liking.

She now thinks something happened between them when they were younger.

Now, her SIL wants to stay overnight at the same time the woman’s mom is due for a visit—she was hoping to get around it with an excuse.

Her husband supports the idea, but because she didn’t want to do it, he’s accused her of not liking his family.

Here husband is now threatening divorce.
