Let’s be honest, most of us will never have the chance to live in a house designed by Fixer Upper stars Chip and Joanna Gaines. But soon, you’ll at least be able to temporarily stay in a space designed by them.
The Gaines are officially opening a hotel!

The boutique hotel will be located in the Gaines’ hometown of Waco, Texas.
The 53,000 square-foot building is just a few blocks from the famous Magnolia Market. When the Gaines are finished overhauling it, it will be a three-story hotel with a restaurant, ballroom, rooftop terrace, and cafe.

They wrote in a press release,
“Home is a feeling, created by and for the people you love and share your life with; it’s a state of being known and loved just as you are.
That is our dream for this hotel — that it would serve as an extension of the way we feel about our own home and all it represents to us, and that every guest who comes to stay would experience that same sense of belonging and community.”

So, who is this hotel designed for (aside from avid Fixer Upper fans)?
They say it’s for,
“…a weary traveler who’s searching for rest, a parent who needs a weekend to recharge, a family eager for an adventure, or anyone else simply looking for a place to settle in and be filled up.
In all of these things, what it really comes down to is our desire to create a place where people feel welcomed home.”
The hotel will surely be full of that signature farmhouse style that Joanna is so famous for.
It’s scheduled to open in downtown Waco in 2021.
