Ever notice how dogs and cats (sometimes) love to have their butt or tummy scratched? Touch is a powerful thing and even animals with “tough” exteriors enjoy a little rub. Take this large group of turtles!

A woman at the Singapore Botanic Gardens found that turtles love this affection. She frequently visits the area with a scrub brush and dozens of turtles flock to the water’s edge awaiting their turn.

Nur Hafiza Ariffin happened upon this heart-bursting sight and took a video.

“I went to Botanical Gardens yesterday and saw this delightful sight, Aunty was happily scrubbing thick green algae off the backs of them cute terrapins.

The terrapins happily came towards her to get their backs cleaned and once its done they cutely walked off. MasyaAllah such a heartwarming sight.”

And it is! I could watch this for hours!

She continues with, “Everyone needs a good back scrub once in a while, right!”

No doubt. And this whole dose of adorableness made me realize that even the smallest of animals need love too.

“Every act of kindness is charity.”

So very true. Hope this made your day, like it did mine.
