Hobbies are great. They can take your mind off of work, give you a creative outlet and often produce something useful, like a piece of art.

People are taking their crocheting hobby to new heights these days and using their unique skillset in a pretty cool way: To crochet tiny couches for cats. Yes, you read that right. Tiny couches! For cats!

I mean, what could be more adorable than a cat or baby kitten snuggled up on a miniature couch? Nothing. That’s what.

Just look at how cozy he looks:

And then there’s this perfect cat-napping spot:

And wow he’s finally able to unwind and take a load off:

I bit the bullet and made the kitty couch – I think she likes it from crochet

This cat mom even crocheted a tiny blanket for her cat:

It took 4 months but it finally happened! My cat actually sat in the sofa I crocheted for her ? from crochet

And here’s a fun multi-colored option:

We are truly in awe of people’s creativity:

It’s just … so precious:

While I do enjoy a challenge, this was a bit more time consuming than I expected! It may be a tiny couch, but there are a lot of details ! Not bad though, for a first try ! I found a few patterns online, both for a price and free ones, but I ended up crocheting free hand. It's more comfortable to me, like playing music by ear ? ( like I recently admitted, I was a band nerd, and love to play music, I find it easier by ear.) I do not anticipate making tons of these, unless people are willing to be understanding with pricing that it takes hours to complete. I love it though ! I love all things tiny ? what do you think ? . . #couch #catcouch #crochet #hookersgonnahook #sewersofinstagram #crochetersofinstagram #handmadeart #shopsmall #tiny #catfurniture

We seriously have to applaud these pet parents for really going above and beyond the call of duty. And also for producing some of the most adorable photos the internet has ever seen, period.

What’s the most ridiculous way you pamper your pet? Anything that other people might deem extreme doting?

Let us know in the comments! We’d love to hear from you!
