I love this idea because I’ve been doing it myself for many years. Not the recreating part, but the finding pop culture locations thing. I love finding places where movies and TV shows were filmed (or where notorious crimes were committed) and just taking it all in.

And I guess I’m not alone in that fascination because other people do it, too!

There’s an Instagram page called Secret Famous Places and the folks behind it do a really great job of not only finding movie locations, but recreating the scenes themselves. And they get into all the little details, like the clothes, the hair, and everything.

Let’s take a look at some of the places they’ve gone to!

1. Mockingjay in Berlin.

Looks pretty exact to me.

Those are awesome! I have to say I’m pretty impressed with how far they go in recreating these scenes.

Do you ever do this when you’re traveling?

If so, please share your photos and your stories with us in the comments.

Thanks!
