Sometimes Twitter is terrible. That doesn’t mean I don’t check it obsessively, though.
Because sometimes, something amazing happens. Like this thread!
Twitter user Walter Thunderfläsk posted this tweet, and the responses are gold:

Ewww.
I feel like there’s more to this story than Walter is telling us.
Anyway, folks came up with some rad stories. Here’s another one about an animal “attack:”
I was attacked by kangaroos for my loaf of bread. Since we were camping and didn’t have a lot of bread my Mum went after them and got the bread back.

I would have loved to see her Mum getting back that loaf of bread. Here’s another story from a guy who saved a space shuttle:

He says it like it’s no big deal.
There are a few celebrity encounters. Here’s one:
In high school, I was baby sitting a little girl when her parents came home w/a friend of theirs. She had black hair and was an older lady who introduced herself as Elizabeth. It wasn’t until I got home that I realized that I had met Elizabeth Taylor and hadn’t recognized her.

Here’s another one, were a celebrity got a bit spicy:
Marie Claire magazine got me in trouble with Jennifer Aniston over some “Friends” tweets

Of course, we needed more details. Here’s the rest of the story:
the very short version of the story is that in 2017 I wrote a 100-tweet thread about how Rachel actually belonged with Joey and it blew up all over the internet to the point that actors were getting asked about it in interviews for other projects. Jen did NOT agree & was SPICY

And there’s this impressive survival story:

What about you? Do you have any true stories that sound like lies?
