My family has a strange habit of sticking to pronouncing things that they mispronounce the first time.
My sister once said “bergels” instead of “bagels”, and my mom once said “Honey Roaches Of Oats” instead of “Honey Bunches Of Oats”.

My mom used to collect beanie babies when they were worth money. When McDonald’s had them as a toy in their kids meals, she would buy several everyday. She didn’t realize she could buy just the toy. We lived off burgers and fries for a month. #MyFamilyIsWeird
