I remember when I was in my twenties and I was out ALL THE TIME.

Even if I had a really early morning at work the next day, I’d be out with friends until the wee hours.

These days?

Not so much…

Because those days are long gone!

What do you think 30 is too old for?

AskReddit users shared their thoughts.

1. The basics.

“Not knowing basic survival skills and relying on someone to do it for you.

Like cooking, laundry.”

2. Not anymore!

“Peoples’ bulls**t that was tolerated when younger.

Being out of f**ks to give is such a liberating feeling!”

3. True.

“Nonsensical family members.

Blood can definitely be a dud.”

4. Ouch!

“Sleeping the wrong way.

I recently developed some sleep anxiety and figured “maybe I just need a change of scenery”…

So I set up an amazing cozy fortress of pillows and blankets on the couch and fell right asleep 👍

Then I had a kink in my neck bothering me for the next 5 days.

Didn’t realize until about a week later that my neck was probably hurting because of the half-night I spent on the couch. Wow.”

5. Grow up.

“Mind games and poor communication.

Grow TF out of this by your mid twenties, please.

By the time you’re nearing 30 you need to be getting a handle on this s**t.”

6. Do what makes you happy.

“Judging people for what they enjoy at an older age.

I rarely “cringe” anymore, I just like seeing someone happy and being themselves and unabashedly feeling joy.

I don’t need to “get it.” joy should be encouraged, it’s hard to find for many for us.”

7. Don’t care.

“I’ve also found out that the older I get, the less I care about what people think. I work all day and have endless responsibilities.

The last think I’d care about is what some d**che would think about me for playing Pokemon at night.”

8. Come on!

“Unless you’re disabled or have some medical disability, having someone else pick up after you.

Be it parents if you live at home, your girlfriend or boyfriend, or roommates who just do it cause they can’t live in a messy home and you refuse to clean.”

9. Yes.

“Loud music without hearing protection.

Not being hydrated because you don’t like the taste of water.

Not taking responsibility for your actions, or seeing the impact you make on the world around you.”

10. Over it.

“High school-style drama.

Being “on again, off again” with an ex.”

11. Good one!

“30 is too old to be worrying about what you’re too old for.

If it makes you happy, do it.”

12. It’s over.

“Sneaking up on someone.

I was just trying to sneak up to my wife who had fallen asleep in her chair and the sound of my knees popping blew my cover.”

13. Try it out!

“I’m 32 and wondering if it’s too late to learn how to skateboard or if it’s cringe if I even try.

I’m in the best shape of my life.”
