Pets are family members and we all want them to be as safe and as healthy as they can possibly be.

And it can be incredibly frustrating when your pet is not feeling well and a veterinarian can’t give you any concrete answers about what’s going on with them.

And a woman shared a short video on TikTok saying that she was charged $850 at an emergency vet after bringing her sick cat there and she didn’t receive any answers about what the issues were.

Take a look at her video.

People who saw her video responded in the comments.

One person said, “Part of growing up is learning to budget for emergencies.”

Another commented, “Tip: if you can’t afford a $1000 vet bill do not get an animal! People need to think before they buy that cute cat/dog.”

But others came to her defense and supported her and one viewer commented, “Quit shaming her for being upset about the high bill. The cat is way better off with her than at a shelter or street. You all need to quiet down.”

The woman decided to address some of the negative comments in a follow-up video.

Take a look at what she had to say.

Let’s hope this kitty has a quick recovery.

A Go Fund Me page has been set up to help out with the expenses and you can visit the page HERE.
